Caring for the generation
Our Award Winning Business
Bright Care was founded in Edinburgh in 2009 by Tim and Louise Cocking. We started the business after realising there was an opportunity to set to work building a holistic and comprehensively managed home care service. With great customer service at the heart of what we do, our services alleviate the frustrations that can come along with increasingly overstretched local authority provision of care for the elderly.

We continually seek feedback from our staff and our clients all of whom are very invested in the success of our business. We love to hear their views on all aspects of our service and these views are always used to shape our business going forward.
There are many in-house methods we use to monitor how we are performing and track our progress from focus groups to feedback questionaires to ‘spot check’ phone calls. Each of our branches is also annually audited by the care inspectorate too. All of our services have achieved grade 5 (‘very good’) or above in inspections in the last 18 months. The Care Inspectorate are an external body which regulates care in Scotland. You can find our most recent inspection reports here.
Every six months we send our data to an external company who analyse it and produce reports for us. This is where we get our satisfaction statistics from. You can read these reports here:
